What is 3DS?
3DS is short for 3D Secure is a security protocol designed to protect online transactions from fraud. It adds an extra layer of authentication—such as a password or a one-time code sent to the cardholder’s mobile device—to verify that the person making the purchase is the legitimate cardholder.
